This redevelopment in the once deserted heart of Downer has skilfully delivered revitalisation and high-quality density to a community and suburb negotiating the imperatives of change. AMC Architecture worked for over a decade with CHC (a provider of affordable housing), with the Downer Community Association and with ACT Government to realise a set of complex goals.



The resulting development sits securely within the modest and fine grain neighbourhood. The architectural language, materials and detailing are respectful of the precinct and creative in achieving an enduring and valued outcome.
